Oklahoma Store Named One of "50 Best" Running Stores in United States

Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa was named one of the “50 Best” Running Stores in the country by Formula 4 Media, producers of the Running Event for the 3rd straight year, every year the award has been presented. Fleet Feet Tulsa was the only Oklahoma retailer to make the Best 50 list for 2008.

Fleet Feet Tulsa was one of four finalists for National Store of the Year. The selection process began with over 300 stores nationwide being nominated by consumers and members of the trade. Nominations were edited and then more than 100 stores were mystery shopped and “rated” by Franklin Resource Group, the leading retail merchandising company serving the sporting goods market. The “ratings” are based on a 20-point evaluation of the store based on a Franklin representative mystery shopping the store and spending at least $100 on a pair of shoes. The mystery shopping score was combined with ratings from vendors who graded the stores on their ability to represent their brands and their credit scores. Stores were also awarded grades based on their involvement in and support of the local community. The mystery shopping score accounted for 50% of the overall grade; the vendor ratings and community involvement score each accounted for 25% of the overall grade.
