Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa Named to Top 50

Tulsa, OK. (November 12, 2009) – With countless running stores across the United States, Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa is honored to be named one of the top 50 best running stores in America. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony organized by Competitor magazine on Nov. 11, 2009 during The Running Event, the largest convention for running specialty stores held in Austin, Texas.

The nomination and voting was handled wholly independent of Competitor magazine and was coordinated by Formula4Media, which provides market research and analysis in the sports retail industry. The evaluation consisted of a year-long evaluation, including “secret shopping,” customer feedback and vendor relations.

“We’re honored to be part of the best running specialty stores and certainly in great company,” said Lori Dreiling, co-owner of Fleet Feet Tulsa with her husband Tim. “We appreciate our loyal customers, who provide great support and energy and allow us to do all the things we do in our community”.

Fleet Feet Tulsa was the only store in the Top 50 in Oklahoma. This was the fourth straight year Fleet Feet Tulsa has made the Top 50, every year the award has been presented. In 2008, Fleet Feet Tulsa was one of four finalists for the National Store of the Year Award.
