The History of Our Publication

For over 26 years (1983-2009), Oklahoma Runner was the premier publication for runners in the state of Oklahoma and surrounding region (western Arkansas, southern Kansas, and northern Texas).
When last published in May of 2009, the magazine was printed 6 times a year and had grown to a full color publication. Oklahoma Runner provided a comprehensive regional race calendar, complete race results, and informative and educational articles on health, nutrition, and injury prevention.
Oklahoma Runner's readership was comprised of runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists, and individuals considering a healthy lifestyle change.
